Cammie Chan is the Founder and Creative Director of Cammie Chan Cheongsam (CCC).

Being inspired to design for her fellow cheongsam enthusiasts, Cammie founded CCC in 2016 with the principle of sustainability in mind. CCC sells pre-owned items and cheongsams designed by Cammie at a discounted price. All the net proceeds go to Arts with the Disabled Association, a charity organisation dedicated in making art accessible to the disabled.

Cammie is committed to make cheongsam wearable for all. It is her belief that women of all ages, body shapes and economic backgrounds can wear and look beautiful in cheongsam.  Cammie not only maintains the essential elements of a cheongsam, which includes the traditional high collar, side slit, and Chinese button knots, she also tries to incorporate modern elements such as denim and modern print into her designs. Cammie enjoys bargain hunting for fabric in Sham Shui Po. By lowering material costs, CCC is able to sell cheongsam at an affordable price, making cheongsam more reachable to the general public.

Cammie is passionate about promoting the art of cheongsam to the public in Hong Kong and the international community.  In 2018, CCC participated in the charity show of Arts with the Disabled Association (ADA). In the same year, Cammie and CCC attended “The Silk Road on Fingertips – International Women’s Handicraft Development Forum”, as a representative of Hong Kong and the All-China Women's Federation.

For Chief Executive Carrie Lam’s visit to Japan in 2018, the Hong Kong Arts Centre commissioned Cammie to design a set of cheongsam aprons as a gift to the members of the Japan-Hong Kong Parliamentarian League. Cammie’s cheongsam apron also appeared in many charity and exhibition events held by institutions such as Hong Kong History Museum and New World Development Group.

In 2019, Cammie’s design entered the gallery in the Hong Kong Arts Center for sale.

In 2020, Cammie founded another high-end cheongsam brand called Cammie.C. that offers custom-made cheongsam for those who demand high standards and creative designs.

The stories of Cammie and CCC have been widely reported by various media such as Ming Pao, Oriental Daily, Sing Tao, RTHK, am730 and Hong Kong Momtrepreneurs.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, Cammie has been designing fabric reusable masks by making use of the leftover fabric, so as to support the society by bringing the idea of reusing, recycling and upcycling old materials feasible and to bring about happiness with colourful and stylish designed masks to the society when everyone is worrying under the hectic phenomenon.
