Our Founder — Cammie Chan
Cammie Chan Cheongsam (CCC) was founded in 2018 by Cammie Chan, a visionary designer, entrepreneur, and cultural ambassador passionate about preserving Chinese traditional craftsmanship. Her journey with cheongsam began in 2016 with the Cammie Chan Charity Cheongsam (CCCC) initiative, which encouraged the donation of pre-loved cheongsams to support first-time wearers and raised funds for the Hong Kong Arts with the Disabled Association (ADAHK). This initiative reflected her belief in the power of fashion to bring communities together.
Driven by her passion to modernize the iconic cheongsam, Cammie launched CCC to create fresh, versatile, and accessible designs that honor tradition while embracing modernity. Her designs have redefined the cheongsam as a symbol of inclusivity and timeless elegance, resonating with women from all walks of life.
In 2022, she opened Hong Kong’s first cheongsam experience boutique, 更衣記 for a Change, offering rental services, photography, and workshops to immerse locals and tourists in cheongsam culture. A year later, Cammie founded the Cultural Inheritance and Development Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to safeguarding Chinese traditions through workshops, lectures, and cultural exchanges.
Through her work, Cammie continues to inspire women to embrace their heritage while celebrating their individuality.
